After Carl Mullaly is found dead in his apartment, detectives Green and Cassady uncover that he had recently appeared on HardFocus, a sensational talk show that targets sex offenders exposed through the ScumWatch website. The only witness to the crime is an eight-year-old girl, leading to an arrest. However, as McCoy and Rubirosa dig deeper, they discover that HardFocus may have a far more significant role in the case than they initially let on.
