Episode Overview

In Williston, North Dakota, the oil boom has transformed the once quiet town into a hub for thousands of blue-collar workers. However, this surge has also drawn in illicit players. Motorcycle gangs are shaking down local bars and strip clubs, while pimps are raking in profits from the sex trade. As the oil industry begins to decline, former oil workers are turning to crime, making the situation even more dire. Drug-related offenses, particularly involving meth, have surged by 78%. The crime wave is now spilling over into the nearby Fort Berthold Tribal Reservation, where a small police force is struggling to manage the influx of crime brought by 4,000 non-native Americans.
