As the investigation into Steve's death unfolds for the Coronial Report, doubts arise about how well his sister, Allie, and their friends truly understood him. Allie firmly believes his death was an unfortunate accident, while Danielle harbors her own suspicions, leading to tension between them—especially when Allie permits Matt to move into Steve's former room. They aren't the only ones struggling with their loss; Con is overwhelmed at the thought of working on the school paper meant to honor Steve because he’s hiding a secret. It takes the guidance of their new teacher, Ronnie Brooks, to help the group confront their grief and come together once more.
