Episode Overview

The episode kicks off with Mark addressing the audience and, with a snap of his fingers, making everyone vanish and then reappear. The scene shifts to the Teacher's Lounge where Mark is gearing up to teach a History class that has captured none of his students' attention. In a friendly wager with a fellow teacher, they challenge each other to see whose class performs better on a test, overseen by Robin. To pique the students' interest in History, Mark employs an engaging teaching method. Meanwhile, at home, Vanessa begins treating Tyler's dog like a girl. During class, only Andre shows enthusiasm and knows the answers, while the rest remain disinterested. Mark discovers that Earvin is also exceptionally knowledgeable about History, even outshining Isaac. However, Earvin declines to participate in the contest, fearing that his intelligence will be exposed. Mark attempts to motivate him by highlighting his potential, but to no avail. At home, Tyler's dog chews on something.
