Episode Overview
Tyler drops by looking for something to eat and notices Mark's fireworks stash, prompting Mark to quickly conceal them. Meanwhile, Robin's boyfriend, Jason, gifts her a necklace, leading her to believe she'll be heading to Hawaii that weekend. Unable to join Mark for a game of pool, Robin sends Vanessa with him instead. Vanessa reminisces about her childhood visits to the Senate Rec. Center with her dad, where she learned to play pool, but still feels out of place. Things escalate when she inadvertently gets Mark into a showdown with a pro pool player and challenges him herself. After a fun night, they return home to tell Robin about their victory at the pool house. Later, Mark and Vanessa head to a jazz concert, but Robin learns that Jason has to travel to Hawaii for work and can't take her. Eager to join Mark and Vanessa at the concert, Robin finds herself stuck at home when Tyler sneaks into Mark's toolbox.
