Episode Overview
Halloween has arrived, and P.J. assigns Geneva and Mark to supervise the high school Halloween party. While teaching a science class, Mark learns that Earvin is upset with his father for abandoning him at birth. In an effort to mend their relationship, Mark decides to fly his father in from New York. Meanwhile, Geneva is busy sewing costumes for herself, Tyler, Vanessa, and Nicole. She creates a horse costume but faces a dilemma when Tyler and Nicole can’t agree on who should wear the headpiece. When Mark’s father arrives, he’s White, and though Earvin doesn’t mind the racial difference, he still holds resentment. Mark, dressed as a doctor, invites Earvin’s father, who is dressed as a grape, to join the dance and attempt to reconcile with Earvin. Will Earvin be able to forgive his father?
