Title: Wordplay / Dreams for Sale / Chameleon Plot: Bill Lowery, a salesman, is startled to find that those around him are gradually speaking in incomprehensible gibberish. As his son falls ill, Bill's communication skills become crucial. He successfully secures his son’s medical care but finds himself needing to relearn the fundamentals of language. Meanwhile, a nameless woman enjoys a peaceful picnic with her husband and twins but becomes increasingly bewildered as the day’s events begin to loop inexplicably. In a separate storyline, a returning space shuttle raises alarms at NASA when it brings back a mysterious shape-shifting alien, creating a potential threat to everyone involved.
