Episode Overview
Amy is faced with the unsettling case of a troubled teenager who posed as a police officer at a high school for months, armed with a loaded gun, until he was caught after brutally assaulting a student he believed was dealing drugs. Meanwhile, Maxine wrestles with the decision of whether to reunite a mother, recently released from prison for killing one of her children, with her family. Kyle aids in uncovering vital medical evidence that could support the mother’s innocence. Tensions rise between Kyle and Brian regarding Kyle’s approach with Teen Harbor's clients, teaching Kyle a costly lesson about street youth. Just as Amy is about to make a ruling on two teens charged with stealing a stop sign and causing a serious accident, she learns in court that the victim has died, leading to a shocking confession from one of the accused. Later, when Lauren catches Kyle in a compromising situation, Gillian steps in to assist him.
