Episode Overview

After a teenager escapes from a locked facility where neither of her parents wanted her, she arrives at D.C.F. with visible bruises, claiming they resulted from abuse. Maxine decides to send her back, a choice that leads to a tragic outcome. Meanwhile, Amy attends her tenth Harvard Law School reunion and is dismayed to see how her former best friends have turned petty and cruel, but her spirits lift when Barry unexpectedly appears to rescue her. Michael reveals his lingering feelings for Amy, regretting their divorce and his marriage to Leisha. Maxine initially dismisses Sean's efforts to digitize their files, but she quickly changes her mind when he efficiently retrieves information that helps them find a teenager in crisis.
