Episode Overview
Amy's hunch about some "pretty girl voodoo" influencing a case involving a teen who assaulted a girl's abusive ex-boyfriend is validated when prosecutor Jonathan Ashworth investigates and assists Amy in delivering justice to everyone involved. Meanwhile, a scared teenager locks himself inside his home with his siblings and starts firing at the police. Maxine bravely steps in to convince him to lower his gun and accompany her to see his mother in the hospital. Additionally, a pregnant woman evades the authorities to retain custody of her baby after Amy realizes she hasn't made any changes since losing her son two years ago. Lastly, Lauren's life skills class project to cook dinner for her family leads to a unique dish inspired by a famous trio not typically linked to cooking.
