After being discharged from the hospital with a clean bill of health, Gillian shares that she had a near-death experience during Walt's birth, but struggles to find anyone who believes her. Meanwhile, Amy insists she can't manage wedding planning, prompting Stu to step in and handle all the details. Tragedy strikes when Maxine's efforts to get the police to raise awareness about a missing foster child are ignored. Tension is palpable between Stu and David at a cocktail party where they both find themselves. In a hospital elevator, Kyle and Lily share a charged moment, while Amy's frustration grows over the disparities between the criminal and juvenile courts as the Hawkins trial wraps up. Kyle fails to persuade Lily to reconsider her move to New York.
