Episode Overview

With all three of her kids back home, Maxine finally decides to let them take charge of their mornings, despite the inevitable chaos. Meanwhile, Amy faces an unexpected setback when the ceiling in her courtroom collapses, leading to her sentence in Accountability Court, which she views as a consequence of her previous ruling in the Casey Ives case. Upon returning from New Mexico, David is heartbroken to learn that the key witness in his wife's murder has passed away. Ignacio seeks Amy's help in pleading his case to Maxine. Sean asks Maxine to help find missing placement records for a young boy, but to their dismay, he seems to have vanished. Heather approaches Kyle to seek his forgiveness, share her plans for treatment, and mention their son, but he’s skeptical. Maxine softens her stance on Ignacio a bit, letting him handle the broken sprinklers in the garden. Amy continues to delve into the underlying issues at play.
