Episode Overview
Vincent turns to his brother Peter for help, asking him to lend money to repay his novel's advance. When Peter consults his accountant, he learns that his business is on the brink of insolvency. Meanwhile, Maxine establishes firm boundaries with Ignacio, leading him to realize it's time to end his marriage with Francesca. Amy returns to juvenile court and immediately clashes with Bruce over the speed of her cases, but she continues to investigate a twelve-year-old boy involved in a felony murder. Though the media attention on the Anthony Byrd case generates leads, Sean is frustrated when it suggests they should be fired for losing Anthony. David purchases a boat but struggles to persuade Amy to overcome her fear of sailing. Additionally, Maxine’s teenage client launches a public campaign to find an adoptive family before he graduates, and Donna steps down as Amy's clerk to take a role as a court-appointed minor.
