From January to December 1943, the United States gears up for an all-out war both domestically and internationally. Factories operate non-stop, producing essential war materials, while inexperienced soldiers face their first battles in North Africa and Italy. At the same time, American airmen bravely take to the skies over Europe, risking their lives in daring daylight bombing raids against formidable enemy defenses.
