Grace Under Fire (1993)

Episode Overview

Jimmy has returned to town for good and, following Grace's suggestion, starts working at the refinery. Unfortunately, his first day goes horribly wrong, leading Nadine and Wade to warn Grace against risking her job for someone who mistreated her in the past. Grace argues that Jimmy has changed and deserves a chance at redemption. Meanwhile, Quentin seeks dating advice from Jimmy, who recommends practicing with a friend before approaching his crush. Grace visits Jimmy at his motel, discovering Jean and her son there. Jimmy feels hopeless about his job, unaware that Grace’s colleagues are sabotaging him. Tensions rise as Jean confronts Grace about accusations of abuse, but Jimmy insists the truth cannot be ignored. Grace is furious upon learning about Jimmy's dating advice to Quentin.
