Episode Overview
Grace discovers some old dresses belonging to Mrs. Walker and suggests to Libby that she could use one for her Halloween costume. Meanwhile, Jean's chairlift malfunctions, prompting Wade to investigate the wiring in the house. Libby theorizes that Mrs. Walker's ghost, whom she claims to have seen, might be responsible for the issue. At a Halloween party, Grace meets Tom, who turns out to be Reverend Maxwell from Jean's church—the minister Jean admires. Tom asks Grace out, and they share a delightful evening, where she inspires him to follow his aspirations. Patrick tells Grace about a ghost outside, leading her to humorously arm him with a water pistol. However, after finding a warm pie in the yard with no one else around, Grace starts to question her skepticism. The episode concludes with Reverend Maxwell resigning from the church, leaving Jean shocked.
