Episode Overview

After years of wearing the same clothes, Grace finally treats herself to a new wardrobe, only to discover the following day that her paycheck will be delayed due to payroll issues in D.C. On her way home, her car unexpectedly bursts into flames, necessitating costly repairs. Jean offers to help her financially, but learns that her bank account, shared with Jimmy, is short due to an unauthorized two-thousand-dollar withdrawal. Upon investigation, they find that Jimmy spent the money on swans, mistakenly thinking they'd be a culinary sensation. Meanwhile, a series of pharmacy burglaries prompts Wade to convince Russell to conduct a stake-out. Grace and D.C. must also navigate the federal building in St. Louis to resolve their financial woes.
