Episode Overview
During her trip to Amsterdam, Jessica reconnects with her old friend and fellow author, Nigel Allison. When Nigel suddenly goes missing, Colin Biddle, who claims to be his publishing contact, insists that everything is fine. However, Jessica soon uncovers that both Nigel and Colin are involved in secretive operations. Despite Colin's warnings to keep her distance, Jessica launches her own investigation into Nigel's disappearance, ultimately persuading a skeptical inspector that something is amiss. Meanwhile, Philip and Lydia de Kooning are negotiating a diamond deal, but when Philip is found dead after Jessica receives a message supposedly from him, she becomes the prime suspect in the murder.
