Anjali arrives to find Adam and Luke less than enthusiastic about her presence, as they’re not keen on ‘baby-sitting’ the new foster kid. Eager to impress, Anjali brags about her accomplishments, but the twins remain unimpressed and decide to ditch her instead of taking her to the Grove as Lou instructed. Meanwhile, the Hamster Race takes place, where Stumpy's hamster emerges victorious, but Stumpy loses Eve, who criticizes the event, worried that Akili could have faced serious trouble if they were caught. Feeling lost and isolated since Claire's departure, Ben seeks out Nikki, only to be warned by Greg to keep his distance. Back home, he tries to reach out to Lou, but Anjali, feeling rejected herself, disrupts his message on the answering machine.
