Maggie was right: Kai is indeed alive! The siblings find refuge in a deserted cabin in the woods. Kai's admission about the heavy burden of guilt he carries deeply troubles Maggie, especially as his shocking explanation unfolds. Following an assassination attempt, their lives are in jeopardy. Maggie seeks help from Voit, keeping Kai's survival and his connection to the ongoing crimes a secret. Meanwhile, Voit’s partner Zajak uncovers a cryptic note left by a survivor of the gruesome scene just before their death. In Poland, a schoolgirl named Ilona stumbles upon something unsettling at a remote boarding school for street kids—mandatory blood donations, missing girls, and ominous men coming and going raise alarms.
