Cam is furious after an anonymous, rude parent stole a special moment from him during Lily's dance recital. The next day, while visiting Alex at her coffee shop with Hayley, he thinks he spots the offender and goes to great lengths to find out who she is so he can confront her. Meanwhile, Jay, Claire, and Mitch attend a family wedding and unexpectedly encounter Dede at the reception. Concerned that their parents might cause a scene, Mitch and Claire come up with a strategy to keep them separated. Lastly, Phil and Gloria take Luke and Manny on a college tour, each using their own methods to prepare the boys for this new chapter while learning to let go.
