Episode Overview

In an effort to bounce back from his Thanksgiving disaster, Cam plans a lavish New Year's Day dinner for the family. However, when his latest culinary attempt flops, Mitch pulls out a "concierge gift card" he got for Christmas to rescue the meal. To Cam's shock, the concierge arriving to help is his ex-boyfriend, Keifth, a former circus ringmaster who vanished from his life without a word. Meanwhile, Phil's father, Frank, shows up with a new girlfriend, who turns out to be Phil's childhood babysitter, leaving him feeling bewildered. Additionally, Gloria and Jay must confront the difficult decision of who will care for little Joe if anything were to happen to them.
