Episode Overview

Manny and Luke take on the challenge of organizing the school’s extravagant winter dance, but a texting mishap leaves them in a tough situation that they must resolve before the night ends. Meanwhile, Gloria, Claire, Mitchell, and Cam volunteer at the event, while Jay's poorly thought-out plan to avoid attending by feigning a desire to hang out with Phil goes awry. During the dance, Claire and Gloria try to matchmake Marjorie, an overbearing mother, with the school principal. Lastly, Mitchell feels uneasy being back in high school and is surprised to see a reflection of himself in the school bully, prompting him to seek some guidance.
