Episode Overview

As MacLeod and Richie witness a terrorist attack on an Ambassador, Richie impulsively leaps into action, fueled by his invulnerability. Amidst the chaos, one terrorist is killed, while another—Annie Devlin, an Immortal—is captured. Vowing to get back at Richie, Annie escapes from custody, prompting MacLeod to step in and mentor Richie for their inevitable confrontation. Flashbacks show MacLeod’s past friendship with Annie, leading him to reconnect with her as they both cope with recent losses. Ultimately, Richie manages to overpower Annie but refrains from killing her, and MacLeod persuades her to abandon her quest for vengeance.
