Highlander: The Series (1992)

Episode Overview

Cullen, a longtime friend of MacLeod, is exhausted from centuries of fighting in The Game and has resorted to drugs and alcohol to muster the strength to continue. After an encounter with Richie, Cullen sets his sights on taking him out. During a reckless game of "chicken" on a mountain road, Cullen crashes into a bus full of passengers, resulting in numerous fatalities. MacLeod, remembering Cullen as a once-great warrior, tries to persuade him to quit the drugs, but Cullen, now paranoid, thinks MacLeod is just trying to weaken him. Ultimately, MacLeod is forced to confront and defeat his troubled old friend.
