Episode Overview
After an evening at the movies, MacLeod and Richie stumble upon a murder attempt targeting grocer David Markum. Though MacLeod intervenes to save Markum, tragically, his wife Alice is struck and killed in the chaos. Determined to confront the attacker, they discover that he is the Immortal Paul Kinman, just as the police arrive to apprehend him. Fueled by the desire for revenge, MacLeod is determined to take Kinman’s life, as he holds Kinman responsible for the death of his close friend Dennis Keating from their time in the court of Queen Anne. FBI agent Kaayla Brooks approaches MacLeod and Richie, asking them to testify against Kinman, but MacLeod declines, knowing he can’t kill Kinman if he’s behind bars.
