Carl Robinson, a former slave who has made a name for himself as a Major League baseball player, is living his dream. However, his world turns upside down when he faces off against another Immortal and ends up standing over the severed head of his opponent. With the police hot on his trail, Carl goes on the run and seeks assistance from MacLeod. Meanwhile, lawman Matthew McCormick is not only determined to apprehend Carl for his crime, but he also has a personal stake in the chase.
