Episode Overview

During a mining operation, a critical failure causes an asteroid to hurtle towards the sun, placing crewman Ned Tedford in jeopardy. Alan and Kayo launch Thunderbird 3 to execute a rescue, but their sensors are disabled by an unexpected solar flare. Upon landing close to the mining site, they must devise a strategy to change the asteroid's path, ensuring it swings around the sun rather than colliding with it.
