Mission: Impossible (1966)

Episode Overview

The IMF is tasked with thwarting Lewis Parma, a Syndicate operative poised to monopolize the U.S. food distribution network. To achieve this, they need to convince his hitman, Vic Duchell, to testify against him, but Duchell is unyielding. Jim disguises himself as a merchant resisting Parma's coercion, making himself a target. After Duchell bombs Jim's apartment, he is knocked unconscious. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself on death row, convicted of Jim's murder and facing imminent execution. Believing Parma will rescue him as before, Duchell is shocked to find Parma absent, thanks to the IMF's clever setup. Just before his staged execution, Duchell cracks and agrees to testify against Parma, who unexpectedly shows up at the warehouse where everything is unfolding.
