Mission: Impossible (1966)

Episode Overview

Van Cleve and his accomplice, Royce, executed a heist at a museum housing pre-Columbian treasures. After allegedly murdering Royce, Cleve stashed the stolen artifacts somewhere across the U.S., prompting the IMF to track him down and seek justice. They devised a plan to convince Cleve he could foresee the future through a series of staged events. Manipulating his fear, they made him believe he would die in an earthquake that would trigger a dam collapse. Terrified, Cleve fled to the desert where he hid the art. The IMF followed him and captured both Cleve and Royce, who had faked his own death and intended to eliminate Cleve to reclaim the treasures.
