Episode Overview

Syndicate leader Mike Apollo is suspected of torturing Federal agent Parnell, who has gone missing. The IMF is determined to find Parnell’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Jim, posing as an insurance investigator, revisits the case of Joe Epic's wife, Leona, who died under suspicious circumstances while Apollo was with Parnell. Jim suggests to Epic that Leona may have been having an affair, planting evidence that implicates Apollo. He also spreads a false rumor to Epic's secretary about a plot to eliminate Apollo. During a Syndicate meeting, when Epic confronts Apollo about Leona's death, Jim deflects blame onto Leona’s husband or lover. To defend himself, Apollo reveals the captive Parnell, prompting the police to swoop in and arrest everyone involved.
