Episode Overview

Overwhelmed by work, Akira, who is actually a woman, discreetly escapes to spend time with Torino, all while keeping her true identity hidden from Mamori and Mirei. As she spends the night in Mamori's room, memories resurface of her mother's decision to have her pose as a man for her safety upon arriving at Mermaid. The following day, a group of rebellious girls takes a Ritter hostage in the same building where Akira has hidden her male clothing. While Charlotte and Kasumi bicker over their strategy, Mamori, Mirei, and Akira sneak through a secret passage to rescue the hostage, only to fall into a trap set by the disgruntled Ritter. After Mirei is knocked out, Mamori enlists Akira to drive her to confront the terrorists, briefly revealing Akira's secret to Mirei before they depart.
