The Darling family returns, seeking Andy's assistance to marry off their daughter, Charlene, to Dud Walsh before the unpredictable Ernest T. Bass can put his abduction plans into action. To protect Charlene, Andy devises a scheme where Barney poses as the bride while the actual ceremony occurs in a different location. Everything seems to be going smoothly until Ernest captures Barney, convinced that he makes just as worthy a bride as Charlene does.
