With Nationals just around the corner, Abby faces the tough task of selecting dancers for the competition. To aid her decision, she assigns every girl a solo, excluding Maddie, and makes it clear she'll be closely monitoring their performances. After being sidelined for a while, Maddie is determined to show Abby she still has the drive for a solo. Additionally, Paige's injured foot puts her chance at Nationals in jeopardy. Meanwhile, the dance moms seize the opportunity of being in California. Melissa seeks to secure agency representation for her daughters, while Kelly supports Brooke in her singing endeavors.
