Laura is eager to get a jump on her taxes and attempts to discuss a $25 check with Rob, who is too engrossed in a boxing match to pay attention, especially since he just missed a key punch. Meanwhile, Rob concocts a plan to ask Buddy for the $25 he’s owed but ends up lying to Laura by claiming Buddy has already repaid him. As Jerry and Rob engage in a game of chess, Jerry suggests Rob should host a show to subtly hint to Buddy about the debt, unaware that Buddy believes Rob actually owes him money. It's worth noting that this debt should have been settled six months ago!
