Episode Overview
The girls' gymnastics team, led by star athlete Lindsay, is on the brink of heading to the state finals, but they're short on funds and have lost their coach. Ryan hatches a plan to boost attendance and raise money by casually mentioning on R.J.'s radio show that Michael Jordan might show up at their next meet (Mr. B. ends up making him refund the money). Meanwhile, Lindsay injures her ankle during practice and hesitates to fully commit to her recovery, telling Ryan she's unwilling to risk competing. In solidarity with the girls, Tommy organizes a strike among the football players. Screech steps in to encourage Lindsay to push through her doubts. At the semi-final meet, the crowd is packed. Maria and Rachel impress the judges with stellar routines, and just as it seems all hope is lost, Lindsay shows up in her uniform. She delivers an incredible performance, scoring a perfect "10."
