Episode Overview
As the Sadie Hawkins Dance approaches, the girls prepare to ask the boys out. Rachel feels anxious but, with Maria's encouragement, musters the courage to invite Ryan, who happily agrees. Meanwhile, Eric hopes that popular Jennifer Wagner will ask him, but she barely knows who he is. Nicky, with an air of arrogance, assumes Katie will ask him, but she hasn’t done so yet. Maria starts offering dating advice, while Eric tries his luck with Jennifer, but to no avail. In an attempt to make Katie jealous, Nicky claims he has another date, prompting her to tell him to go for it. Rachel and Ryan pose for a photo with Screech, but it hilariously cuts off Rachel's head. They both claim to be fine with their height difference, though it's clear it bothers them. Screech tries to help Ryan with platform shoes and a wig, but it backfires, leaving Ryan looking ridiculous. Eventually, Rachel and Ryan consider backing out of the dance
