The Radcliff family embodies a blend of eras. Kate, the mother, resides in the 19th Century, managing an antique shop and steering clear of modern technology. In contrast, Charlie, the father, embraces the conveniences of the 20th Century with his large TV and microwave. Their daughters, 13-year-old Sarah and kindergartner Millie, navigate the 21st Century, often turning to the Internet for school assignments. One evening, while researching Hawaii, Sarah accidentally discovers a pornographic site, prompting Kate and Charlie to demand she shut it down, disturbed by the easy access to such content. At the shop, Kate strikes up a friendship with Monica. Meanwhile, Tess, Millie's teacher, dodges Millie's inquiries about reproduction, suggesting she ask her parents instead. Sarah's savvy friend Kiki takes her to a cyber café owned by Andrew, while at work, Charlie's colleague introduces him to various adult websites.
