Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018)
S06E04 The Letter
Episode Overview
While driving through the picturesque crop fields of central California, Monica admires their beauty. However, when Tess encourages her to look closer, Monica notices the hardworking families, including many young children, laboring under the sweltering sun. Among them is the Morante family, led by patriarch Roberto, who works alongside his wife Elisa, teenage son Tino, and younger kids Claudia and Miguel. They follow the harvest seasons, moving wherever work is available. One of their few comforts is a weekly letter from their grandmother. Although Roberto can't read, Tino reluctantly reads it aloud, preferring music on the radio. Upon arriving at the new migrant camp, they meet Monica, church volunteer Andrew, and fellow worker Rafael. At church that Sunday, Tino discovers a piano and starts playing, prompting Tess to offer to teach him music.
