Tevis Lockwood embarks on a fresh chapter with his daughters, Ashley and Jasmine, relocating from sunny Los Angeles to the rainy suburbs of Seattle. This move is driven by Tevis's new role at a major shipping company, but his daughters aren't thrilled, especially Jasmine, who worries that the dreary weather might lead to illness. As they unpack and settle into their new home, Jasmine’s anxiety about the climate grows. Monica, part of the transition team, steps in to care for the girls alongside Gloria while Tevis focuses on his new job. Excited about his position, Tevis arrives at the office only to find the reception desk unattended. Tess appears with her resume and starts answering calls, prompting Tevis to hire her immediately—just before the actual receptionist, Joaquin, walks in.
