Episode Overview

A year ago, the Costello family was thriving, but now things have taken a dark turn. Don struggles at work, Stacey spends her days wandering the park, and their son Justin faces suspension from school as he undergoes therapy. The catalyst for their turmoil is the tragic murder of Kimmie, their daughter and Justin's sister. During one of Don's motivational talks, Stacey arrives to drop Justin off at his new therapist, Gloria. Don apologizes to Monica, the company evaluator, promising to meet her later at home. In therapy, Gloria attempts to get to the root of Justin's school fights, but he remains tight-lipped. Meanwhile, Monica informs Don about the negative feedback regarding his speeches, noting that his references to Kimmie make audiences uncomfortable. Just then, Justin walks in, upset that his mother never picked him up. Monica offers to help.
