Episode Overview
A bitter family dispute ignites after the wealthy and solitary Dorothy Hepple is discovered dead in her home. Instead of leaving her fortune to her nephew, Harry, and niece, Caroline, she bequeaths everything to her cherished cats. Her body went unnoticed for two weeks, and while the cause of death remains unknown, Jack grows suspicious when he learns the cats were intentionally confined, resulting in them feeding on her remains and any potential evidence. Dorothy had a strained relationship with her neighbor, Tim Cuswell, while her caregiver, Dale, appeared loyal but raises doubts about his intentions. With the last of her feline heirs gone, her estate becomes available, prompting the team to reopen the investigation into Dorothy's demise, as many vie for their claim.
