Hidetada Tokugawa takes over from his father as the second shogun of the Tokugawa clan amid rising anti-Tokugawa feelings in Osaka. Nobuyuki Sanada travels to Osaka Castle to meet with Hideyori Toyotomi. Meanwhile, Yukimura Sanada finds his tightly monitored existence disrupted by an unforeseen visitor, bringing new challenges to his life.
