When a duo of escaped convicts seeks shelter at the Duke farm, friends and foes must unite to handle the crisis. The intruders invade the Duke home just as Uncle Jesse is about to head into town to pay the mortgage. His absence raises suspicions, leading Boss Hogg and Rosco to venture out to the farm, only to find themselves captured too. With all communication cut off and car keys taken away, the Dukes are left to devise a clever plan to signal for help and turn the situation around.
