The Time Tunnel (1966)

Episode Overview

After being shot by Afghani tribesmen and left for dead, Tony is saved by Rudyard Kipling, who brings him to safety at the English fort. Meanwhile, Doug is taken captive and brought before Singh, the leader of the Afghan resistance against the British in 1876. As the Afghanis prepare for a large-scale assault dubbed the 'Night of the Long Knives', Doug manages to escape with the help of a blind slave and returns to the fort. Though Kipling is captured, the general in charge, under orders to defend only, orchestrates an "unofficial" counterattack, allowing Doug and Tony to rescue Kipling and confront Singh, who is ultimately killed in the skirmish.
