Episode Overview
Jimmy's mother relocates to an apartment and informs him that she can no longer care for his childhood dog, Happy. Although Jimmy desires to adopt Happy, he can't due to Greg's supposed dog allergies. Kim attempts to persuade Greg to accept the dog, but he reveals that he simply dislikes dogs. Ignoring Greg's feelings, Kim allows Jimmy and Christine to keep Happy at their place. In retaliation, Greg brings home a go-cart, which Kim disapproves of. When Happy arrives, he turns out to be far more aggressive than Jimmy remembers. Despite Kim's realization of her error, she hesitates to tell Jimmy to let go of Happy, even as Christine agrees. After an incident involving the go-cart, they take Happy to the vet, where they finally convince Jimmy that the dog is too dangerous to keep. The vet informs them that Happy's future is grim.
