Episode Overview
As Greg and Kim prepare their will, a disagreement arises over who should care for Sam if they both pass away. Kim prefers that Jimmy and Christine take him in, while Greg doubts Jimmy's ability to be responsible. Ultimately, he concedes to Kim’s choice. When they break the news to Jimmy and Christine, Jimmy questions how someone reliant on others can handle three kids. Discovering that Greg's life insurance would provide for the child, he feels slighted that Greg entrusted the money to his sister instead of him. To prove his competence, Kim decides to give Jimmy $1500 from their tax refund. After a failed attempt at investing, Jimmy uses the money to buy scuba gear and lessons, launching a golf ball retrieval business by collecting balls from the lake and selling them for profit.
