Episode Overview
On Halloween night, Greg reluctantly dons a goofy hot dog costume for trick-or-treating, after Sam the kitty points it out while Kim the genie helps him choose. Concerned about leaving candy unattended, Greg fears that his house might be vandalized. Sam gets deceived by a seemingly kind elderly woman who claims she'll fetch some treats, only for her son to leap out in a wolfman outfit and frighten the kids. Upset, Sam bursts into tears and they hurry back home, prompting an irate Greg to seek revenge. While Christine and Jimmy suggest vandalism, Kim proposes a more measured approach: writing a stern letter. Though Greg prefers the mischief plan, he ultimately goes along with Kim. They deliver the letter to the house, then hide to observe. When the old lady and her son read it and erupt in laughter, Greg and Kim head home, prepared to tackle things in the Hughes style.
