Episode Overview

While rummaging through an old jacket, Greg stumbles upon a wedding invitation meant for Kim's former friend, Julie Grimes. Kim severed ties with Julie after she didn't attend her wedding, and Greg fears Kim will think he intentionally withheld the invitation, especially since he never cared for Julie’s humor, unlike Kim and Christine. Christine suggests showing Kim the invitation to clear Julie’s name, but Greg discards it instead. After discovering that Julie moved to LA to pursue comedy and seeing Kim's sadness over lost friendships, Greg decides to visit Julie. Julie, upset over not being invited, is relieved to learn she was indeed invited and agrees to mend things, beginning with an invitation to her own wedding for Greg to deliver. However, Greg finds Julie as unamusing as ever with her endless catchphrases, prompting him to toss her invitation as well.
