Episode Overview
In Staffordshire, the week of Come Dine with Me begins with opera singer Charlotte Pearson hosting the first dinner. Project manager Carl Longson quickly stirs the pot with his outdated views, leaving the group, particularly fabric artist Ingrid Wagner, in disbelief. On the second night, Ingrid showcases her vibrant personality with a 'food of the world' theme, but unfortunately, her dishes are marred by an unexpected layer of dust. Confident car salesman Richard Turnbull aims to dazzle on his turn, yet his ambitious menu faces tough criticism, especially as Carl’s antics overshadow his efforts. Tensions peak when Carl crosses the line with Charlotte, criticizing her modeling past. After a week of pushing boundaries, Carl realizes he may have jeopardized his own standing in the competition.
